Levi's 50 sealed victory for Mumbai Indian - IPL5

Mumbai Indians' new signings, Pragyan Ojha and Richard Levi, made immediate impact to set up an easy win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the season opener. Richard Levi swiped his way to a 35-ball 50 in an easy chase, but it was Ojha who made the crucial contribution.

Ojha's introduction was a pivotal moment in the game. Put in on a surprisingly green Chennai pitch - definitely not one that will impress IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla - Super Kings were just coming out of a period of struggle then. One of their big strikers, M Vijay, had taken six balls to get off the mark, and his anxiousness to do so had resulted in the run-out of fellow opener Faff du Plessis. Soon he himself fell to a slower ball from James Franklin.

Under the new captain, Mumbai Indians showed some real instinct on the field with their fielding performance that caused 3 run-outs in the chennai super kings Innings.
There is some doubt in the air, now for Mumbai Indian where Sachin tendulkar injured with split webbing of finger and Rohit Sharma with a hamstring injury - both victims of Doug Bollinger.

Man of Match - Richard Levi, was very excited with his performance and happy to see the start set up by himself in this edition of IPL and for himself.
